IIMC UP Chapter Monthly Meeting: Tributes paid to deceased alumni; members vow to plant trees
Lucknow: The monthly meeting of the UP Chapter of the Indian Institue of Mass Communication (IIMC) Alumni Association was held at the Coffee House in Lucknow.
During the meeting, alumni expressed deep grief over the recent demise of Mukesh Kumar (batch of 2001-02), Binny Kumari (batch of 2022-23), and Aarti Patel (batch of 2020-21).
Besides, there was a discussion about the upcoming annual event, IMCA 2024 Awards, which will be held in New Delhi this year.
Meanwhile, the UP chapter president, Manendra Mishra, also pledged that the members would plant a tree near their workplace, protected with a safety net, just as they did last year. They also vowed to support the dissemination ofinformation related to environmental conservation in every possible way.
Prominent attendees of the meeting included DIG Home Guards Sanjeev Shukla, DGM of Lucknow Metro Panchanan Mishra, Rishi Singh, Ranveer, Rashi Lal, Imtiaz Ahmed, Vishal Kasodhan, Prabhat Kumar, Aishwarya Shivam, Raghavendra Saini, Tauseef Ahmad, and Raghavendra Shukla.
